Pajama and Movie Party in the Library!

Do you have a beloved pet or a dream pet? Go on an artistic journey to memorialize your pet in a watercolor portrait with Ms. Crawford, Ms. Lucas and Ms. Voelk in Room 22 . Students can bring an 8x12 photo of their chosen pet (or choose a photo provided), watch a few pet videos while their portraits dry and take home a watercolor portrait of their pet in a week from the party. Pet-themed snacks and juice will be provided.

Come join us directly after school for some 2nd Grade fun with clay, arts and crafts, and building (blocks/legos/puzzles). Students can come directly to room 6 after school to start the party. If your student will be attending an after school program at the conclusion of the party, please let us know in advance where they will be going so that we can make sure to get them checked in. Please also let us know of any food or crafting material allergies. Looking forward to a fun celebration of creativity with our 2nd grade Mighty Marmots!

Join Mrs. Leland in the library to hang out with our Reading with Rover dog, Marty. There will be an opportunity to read to our Reading with Rover therapy dog, build with the STEM bins in the library, and of course, have an end of the day snack. This will take place during the school day to all for any students who take the bus to participate.

5th grade is hosting an ice-cream social after school on Wednesday, June 10th from 1:15-2:15pm. We will have a variety of playground games in addition to the sundaes. We are committed to including all 5th graders who want to come. Families may volunteer to help serve or facilitate games, donate ice-cream toppings, and/or donate at the auction.

Get ready for some pickleball fun in the gym! Mrs. Becker is hosting a tournament for 16 3rd-5th grade students after the PE unit on pickleball so all students will have experience. Students will get to bring their lunch into the gym where everyone will eat together before beginning our pickleball play. There will also be a special treat at the end of the time together.

Ever wondered what it’s like to be the principal for a day? Now’s your chance! Join us for a Principal Party, where YOU take the lead! We’ll step into the principal’s shoes, make important school decisions (like what kids really want at Wedgwood!), do some official building walk-throughs, and—of course—fuel up with a Principal Pizza Party!
