How much are tickets?

Tickets are a suggested donation of $45 and include dinner.

What should I wear? 

Dress is casual party attire! The theme is A Bright Night for Wedgwood, so feel free to have fun with bright colors and playful patterns! Most importantly, wear what you’re comfortable in—your presence is what matters most!

Who can attend?

This is an adults-only event. Wedgwood Elementary parents, caregivers, teachers, and staff are welcome.

What happens at an auction?

The evening includes dinner, games, a silent auction, and a live auction. You’re welcome to participate in as much as you like.

What's a silent auction?

Silent auction items will be on display at the event, but all bidding will take place online using the auction platform. You can bid from your phone until the silent auction closes (we'll give a warning before it ends). When bidding closes, the highest bid wins the item.

The silent auction features a wide range of items at various price points, including gift cards, kids' camps, wine tastings, and themed gift baskets, many generously donated by Wedgwood families and local businesses. 

How does a live auction work?

During the live auction, an auctioneer introduces each item and announces a starting bid. If you’d like to bid, raise your bid number. The auctioneer will continue increasing the bid until only one bidder remains—the winner!

What is a sign-up party?

There are two different types of sign-up parties: 

• Parent sign-up parties are hosted by Wedgwood parents and might include events like trivia nights or wine and cheese gatherings. Hosts set the activity, date, and donation amount, and guests sign up by donating at the auction. 

• Teacher sign-up parties are hosted by Wedgwood teachers and are typically after-school activities (like a bookstore outing or craft day at school). Parents can donate to sign up their child.

Will I know what items will be included in the auction beforehand?


Yes! Students will bring home a link to the auction catalog prior to the event with a full list of silent and live auction items, plus games and raffles.

Do I have to bid on anything at the auction?

Nope! Participation is optional. There will be items at many price points, along with optional games and a wine grab. All proceeds support the Wedgwood PTA and help us reach our fundraising goal.

How do I get the items that I win?

Tangible items can be picked up at the end of the event. If you sign up for a party, you’ll receive details the week following the auction.

Will alcohol be served?

Yes—wine, beer, and cocktails will be available for purchase. Non-alcoholic options will also be offered.

Are scholarships available to attend?

Yes, please contact School Nurse Jessica Prince at jlprince@seattleschools.org to request a scholarship.
